AI automation for small businesses

AI automation forthe work that eatsyour week.

I build assistants and automated workflows that answer customers, follow up on leads, book appointments and move data between your tools, so the repetitive work stops depending on you.

Built around the tools you already use, and handed over with documentation.

Businesses I've built for

Where the time goes

Your business runs
on work that
a system could do.

Most small businesses lose hours every week, and some of their best leads, to tasks that follow the same steps every time. These are the usual signs.

  1. 01

Leads wait hours for a reply

By the time someone answers, the customer has already booked with whoever replied first.

  2. 02

    The same questions, all day

Prices, hours, availability and directions, answered by hand on WhatsApp, Instagram and email.

  3. 03

    Follow-up depends on memory

Quotes go out and nobody follows up, so interested customers quietly go cold.

  4. 04

    Data typed twice

Leads, orders and bookings copied by hand from one tool into another, with the errors that come with it.

  5. 05

    Bookings by back-and-forth

Scheduling, confirmations and reminders eat time, and no-shows eat revenue.

  6. 06

    No one knows the numbers

Where leads come from and what happens to them lives in scattered chats and spreadsheets.

Automation is not about replacing people. It is about making sure the repeatable parts happen every time, instantly, so your team spends its hours where judgment matters.

Watch it work

A customer writes
at 11:42 p.m.
It still gets booked.

A demo of the most common first project: a WhatsApp assistant that answers, books and follows up while you sleep, then hands you the conversation in the morning.

Hi! Do you have anything tomorrow for a facial? How much is it?

Hi Laura! A signature facial is $95. Tomorrow I have 10:30 a.m. or 4:00 p.m. Which works better?

What changes

Faster replies,
fewer dropped leads,
hours back every week.

Each automation is built around one business result you can measure, not around a tool that is trendy this month.

01

Instant first response

Every inquiry gets an accurate answer in seconds, on WhatsApp, your website or email.

02

Follow-up that always happens

Quotes, reminders and check-ins sent on time, with the conversation handed to you when a person is needed.

03

Tools that talk to each other

Forms, CRM, calendar, spreadsheets and invoicing connected, so data is entered once.

04

Visibility on what works

Leads, sources and outcomes tracked in one place, so decisions rest on numbers.

What can be automated

Six places where
automation pays for itself.

Most projects start with one of these. Each is built for your process, your tools and your language β€” English, Spanish or both.

  • Illustration: a phone with chat bubbles, linked to a calendar with one slot booked.01

    WhatsApp AI assistant

Answers common questions, qualifies leads and books appointments on WhatsApp using the official Business Platform, and passes the chat to you when needed.

  • Illustration: a website with its chat assistant open and a contact form in front.02

    Website chat assistant

Trained on your services, prices and policies to answer visitors and capture their details instead of losing them.

  • Illustration: a form, a chat and an ad feeding one contact card, with follow-up emails going out.03

    Lead capture & follow-up

Every form, ad and chat lead lands in one place, gets an instant reply and a follow-up sequence until they respond.

  • Illustration: a calendar with booked days, a reminder bell and a check mark.04

    Bookings & reminders

Online booking connected to your calendar, with confirmations and reminders that reduce no-shows.

  • Illustration: a form turning into a signed document with a seal.05

    Quotes & documents

Quotes, proposals, invoices and contracts generated from a form or a CRM record, ready to send.

  • Illustration: a dashboard with bar, donut and line charts, and a weekly calendar behind it.06

    Reporting & internal workflows

Sales, leads and operations summarized automatically in a dashboard or a weekly report.

What an automation project includes

From a messy process
to a system that
runs without you.

One person maps the process, builds the automation, connects your tools and stays accountable for it working.

  • 01

    Process mapping

What happens today, step by step, where time is lost and which parts should stay human.

  • 02

    Automation design

The workflow, the triggers, the exceptions and what the AI is allowed to do on its own.

  • 03

    AI assistant setup

Trained on your services, prices and policies, with clear limits and a handoff to a person.

  • 04

    Integrations

WhatsApp Business Platform, CRM, calendar, forms, email, spreadsheets, payments and the tools you already use.

  • 05

    Testing with real cases

Run against real conversations and edge cases before any customer sees it.

  • 06

    Documentation & handover

How it works, how to change it and what to do if something breaks, written down.

  • 07

    Monitoring & support

Ongoing checks, adjustments and improvements as your business and the tools change.

Who you actually work with

One partner who builds
the site and the system.

Automations touch your website, forms, WhatsApp and data at the same time. One person who understands all of them means fewer gaps between tools and nobody pointing fingers.

  • Against off-the-shelf chatbots

Ready-made bots are cheap to start. They rarely know your services, rarely connect to your tools and usually sound like a bot.

  • Against a large automation agency

Agencies win on capacity. For a small business that often means long discovery phases, retainers and a system nobody on your side understands.

I'm Michael, a web developer based in the Dominican Republic who builds websites, SEO and automation for small businesses in the US and the Caribbean, in English and Spanish.

The process

A clear path from
process to automation.

Automation fails when it is built before the process is understood, so the order is fixed.

  1. 01

    Discovery

Your process, your tools, your volume and the result that would make this worth it.

  2. 02

    Map

The workflow on paper: steps, triggers, exceptions and where a person stays in the loop.

  3. 03

    Build

The automation and assistant, connected to your tools in a test environment.

  4. 04

    Test

Real conversations and edge cases, adjusted until it behaves the way you would.

  5. 05

    Launch & monitor

Live with documentation, monitoring and the agreed support.

Before you write

Are we a good fit?

This works well if

  • You handle a steady volume of leads, messages, bookings or orders.
  • The same tasks repeat every day or week.
  • You can explain how the process works today, even if it's messy.
  • You want a system you understand, not a black box.

This is not the right fit if

  • You want AI to replace your team overnight.
  • You don't yet have customers or a process to automate.
  • You want to send mass unsolicited messages.
  • You're not ready to give access to the tools involved.

Questions

Answered
plainly.

Still unclear on something? Ask it in the form β€” it becomes a better first conversation.

It does a receptionist's job on the channels your customers already use: it greets every message on WhatsApp and your website at any hour, answers what it has been given, qualifies the inquiry, books the appointment and hands anything unusual to you. It is not a voice service answering your phone line β€” if you need calls picked up, say so in the form and we'll look at whether that fits your setup.

Usually the work that follows the same steps every time: answering common questions, capturing and following up on leads, bookings and reminders, quotes and documents, and moving data between tools. The first conversation is about finding the task where automation pays back fastest.

It works from information you approve and within limits you set: what it can answer, what it must never promise and when it hands the conversation to a person. It is tested with real cases before launch and monitored after.

Yes. Assistants run on Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform, not on unofficial tools that put your number at risk of being banned. Meta charges per message by category and country, and I explain those costs before we build.

It depends on what you already use. Common pieces are the WhatsApp Business Platform, automation platforms such as n8n or Make, CRMs, Google Workspace, calendars, forms and AI models from providers such as OpenAI or Anthropic.

It depends on how many steps, tools and exceptions are involved. Most projects are a one-time build plus a small monthly amount for hosting, platform fees and support. The form includes budget ranges so we can check alignment before a call.

A focused automation, such as a WhatsApp assistant or a lead follow-up flow, usually takes two to four weeks from discovery to launch. Larger workflows are split into phases.

Access is limited to what the automation needs, credentials stay in your own accounts wherever possible and everything is documented. You own the workflows and can move them if you ever change providers.

Yes. Assistants and messages can reply in the customer's language, which matters for businesses serving both markets.
